Mountain Bike Stage Race

The mountain bike stage race tour-grischa will be contested in the Swiss canton of Graubünden from 17 to 22 September 2012. The staging posts along the way are the tourist destinations of Flims, Brigels, Savognin as well as Lenzerheide. The race will be based on time trials and completed over five stages in the glorious mountain bike landscape of Graubünden. While fun bikers can enjoy the fabulous experience of Graubünden’s mountains, the world’s mountain biking elite will be battling it out for points in UCI world rankings. Each competitor will be included in the category “single”, meaning that every athlete will be included in the ranking list. In addition, there will be an opportunity for teams to take on the challenge of tour-grischa. In the first year of this race the field of competitors will be restricted to 800 and will be selected strictly on a “first come, first served” basis.
